How we handle your personal data under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act.
Who we are
Ascend Business Consulting Pte. Ltd. ("Ascend", "we") is an employment agency licensed by Singapore's Ministry of Manpower (MOM), UEN 202411410H. We are the organisation responsible for the personal data you provide to us.
What data we collect
Employers who make an enquiry: your name, company, contact number, sector and the message you send us.
Workers who register: your name, WhatsApp/contact number, nationality, preferred language, current pass type, trade/occupation, years of experience, current employer (optional), Work Permit/pass expiry date, expected salary, skills/certificates, and what you are looking for. We do not ask for your passport, NRIC/FIN or bank details on this website.
Why we use your data
- To respond to your enquiry (employers).
- To match you with suitable jobs or employers, and to contact you about them (workers).
- To provide our licensed employment-agency services and meet our legal and MOM obligations.
We only use your data for the purpose you gave it to us for. We will ask for fresh consent before using it for anything else.
Consent and your choices
We collect and use your data based on the consent you give when you submit a form. You can withdraw consent or ask us to stop contacting you at any time — just message us (see "Contact us" below) and we will act on it within a reasonable time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. For workers, we may share relevant details with a prospective employer only to arrange a job match, and only in line with your consent. We may use trusted service providers (for example, secure hosting) to operate this website; they process data only on our instructions.
How long we keep it
We keep your data only as long as needed for the purpose above or as required by law, then securely delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete your data at any time and we will do so unless we are legally required to keep it.
How we protect it
We apply reasonable security measures to protect your data against loss or unauthorised access. Our website uses HTTPS encryption.
Your rights under the PDPA
- Access — ask what personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct data that is wrong.
- Withdrawal / deletion — withdraw consent or ask us to delete your data.
Marketing and Do Not Call
We only contact you about your enquiry or job matches, using the number you gave us. We comply with Singapore's Do Not Call (DNC) rules. If you do not want to be contacted, tell us and we will stop.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the current version.
